A curly affair
Curly hair looks fab but is difficult to manage
most of the time. But now, you can leave them loose to bounce with
gusto. Ward off the roughness of your curls as
Debarati Mukherjee suggests quick tips to tackle them with finesse.
• Wash
your hair with a moisturising mild shampoo, rich in keratin yoghurt
nutri complex. This will keep your hair supple and help in fixing your
curls with glam. Make sure you condition it well.
• Use cold water to wash off the shampoo and conditioner to keep the hair frizz free.
• Squeeze out the excess water from your hair instead of rinsing it rigorously with a towel.
• Use
a micro moisture and fibre active rich leave-in serum to moisturise
your curly manes. This will ensure a tangle free, shiny and voluminous
mane.
• Deep condition your hair once a month with a good conditioning mask.
• A
hair dryer should never be on your must do list. It normally strips the
hair moisture leaving it looking dry and frizzy. If it is absolutely
essential to use a dryer, use one with a diffuser to make sure that your
lovely mane is protected.
• Curly hair tends to get rough every
time you wash it. Using a hair brush or comb will make it even rougher.
Use your fingers instead.
• Use a hair band when you go
outdoors. This will create a flat impression on the crown while the
curly strands can enjoy a free flow below.
• Avoid playing with your hair too often as the friction can damage your mane.
